> Pressure gauges

Our pressure gauges (mechanical pressure measuring instruments) for gauge, absolute and differential pressure have been proven millions of times over. For the optimal solution for the widest range of applications, there is a choice of measuring systems in Bourdon tube, diaphragm element and capsule element technologies. The pressure gauges cover scale ranges from 0 … 0.5 mbar to 0 … 6,000 bar and indication accuracies of up to 0.1 %. For the various requirements in industrial and process instrumentation there are pressure elements from copper alloys, stainless steel or special materials.

> Digital pressure gauges

A digital pressure gauge displays the acting pressure in an integrated digital display. WIKA offers digital pressure gauges for general industrial applications and also for use in the field of testing and calibration. The indicator cases of our digital pressure gauges are rotatable if required and thus always ensure a good readability. In addition, intrinsically safe versions and instruments with wireless interface are available.

> Pressure sensors

The pressure sensors offer accuracies from 0.05 %, measuring ranges from 0.05 bar up to 15,000 bar, digital interfaces such as CANopen and IO-Link and also various international approvals, including for hazardous areas.

> Process transmitters

Process transmitters differentiate themselves from pressure sensors through their increased range of functionality: They feature integrated displays, offer high measuring accuracies and freely scalable measuring ranges, communicate via digital bus signals and can be delivered with a multitude of case variants and also worldwide Ex approvals. Through connection to diaphragm seals, they are also suitable for the harshest operating conditions.

> Pressure gauges with output signal

Pressure gauges with output signal combine the advantages of the analogue indication of a mechanical pressure gauge, needing no external power, with the electrical output signal of a pressure transmitter. These hybrid instruments are available with all commonly used electrical signals. The sensor works in a non-contact way, without any influence on the measuring signal. Many of the instruments can be delivered in accordance with ATEX with an Ex-i intrinsically safe ignition protection type.

> Pressure switches

A pressure switch opens or closes a corresponding switch contact as soon as a preset pressure is reached. Depending on the requirement, pressure switches are used with mechanical or electrical switch contacts, with or without displays and with various setting possibilities.

> Contact pressure gauges

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, limit values must be monitored, contact pressure gauges find their application. The switch contacts make or break the circuit dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. If the reading is significantly above or below a set value, they trigger an alarm, hence also the term “alarm contact”. Contact pressure gauges are also suitable for starting, stopping or switching processes.

> Diaphragm seals

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, limit values must be monitored, contact pressure gauges find their application. The switch contacts make or break the circuit dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. If the reading is significantly above or below a set value, they trigger an alarm, hence also the term “alarm contact”. Contact pressure gauges are also suitable for starting, stopping or switching processes.

> Diaphragm seal systems

In our section “Diaphragm seal systems” you will find a selection of the common combinations of diaphragm seals with pressure measuring instruments. All the diaphragm seal systems presented here feature fast availability and are particularly suitable for demanding measuring tasks in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, food and beverage industries, and through to the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical and semiconductor industries.

> Valves and protective devices

Via cocks, shut-off valves, valve manifolds or monoflanges, pressure measuring instruments can be securely separated from the process during commissioning, maintenance or calibration. Protective devices, such as syphons, overpressure protectors and snubbers, increase the service life and extend the application spectrum of pressure measuring instruments. Alongside the extensive selection of instrumentation valves and accessories, WIKA also offers qualified assembly of different individual components into a complete measuring arrangement (“hook-up”).

> Mounting accessories

Adapters are, together with seals, used for the installation of pressure measuring instruments, stopcocks, shut-off valves, syphons, snubbers and other accessory components. Protection caps protect the pressure gauges from shocks, impacts, corrosion and weathering effects. Instrument mounting brackets serve for the wall or pipe mounting of pressure measuring instruments.

> Electrical accessories

For on-site display of pressure values, pressure sensors can be combined with attachable indicators; for the central pressure indication there are digital indicators for panel mounting available. Our electrical accessories also include power supply and control units, intrinsically safe repeater power supplies and also pre-assembled connectors with cables.
